- Maytag is 'human' in the sense that his brain is that of a human Psion whose body was being consumed by mummy rot that he opted to have his brain removed, tossed in preservation fluids, and placed in a robot body. It seems like the operation was successful, given he is running around at present casting psionic powers.
- Is currently staying in the canal laden port city of Tempest while the rest of his allies are looking for the next job. The city is abuzz with the popular Queen's arrest by her husband, the king of Tempest for reasons that Maytag has had little interest beyond the fact security has increased at several points.
- Magic items on hand includes magical darts, his short sword he used to slay that one hill giant, and his jug of endless liquids.
